SemGroup Energy Partners’ trucking assets extend our physical pipeline gathering radius and allow third parties to increase the level of services offered to customers. Our crude oil truck fleet serves wellhead locations not accessible by pipeline gathering systems and transports the commodity to aggregation points and storage facilities.

Our 200-plus trucks can move more than 53,000 barrels per day, and each truck has an average tank size of about 200 barrels. We dispatch our drivers with advanced computer technology out of central locations in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Abilene and Dumas, Texas. The drivers also use hand-held computers to send and receive information. After loading their trucks, they generate computer-printed tickets for the customer that provides payment details.

Producer Field Services

We also provide multiple field services for independent oilfield producers and major energy companies. By operating 17 field facilities and more than 100 service trucks, we are able to tailor services to specific customer needs.

The diverse services we offer to producers include: gathering condensates using bobtail trucks for natural gas producers, chemical and down-hole well treating, wet oil clean up, providing hot and cold water, and hauling production water to disposal wells.
